How is it done?

For this application we make use of a remote controlled helicopter. The helicopter is equipped with the camera and a video link, which means that the view of the camera is seen LIVE on the ground by means of a LCD screen. The LCD screen is monitored by the cameraman and the client. We have full control of the camera's position on the helicopter, which enables us to get the right picture at the right time!

• Aerial footage can be taken on an altitude below 1000ft, without the need of special permission;
• From arrival on site, images are taken within a short period of time;

Before each flight a thorough pre-flight inspection is done to ensure that all equipment is in 100% working order. We are members of the RCAPA, who provides us with guidelines in all aspects of Remote Controlled Aerial Photography.

Applications?

This type of aerial photography is very popular in the United States. Applications include real estate, property development, project management, insurance claims, safety and rescue as well as live feed for broadcasting purposes.

For still images, a digital camera with a resolution of 7.2 Mpixels is used. All footage is supplied to you on CD in original quality.

For video footage we use a 3CCD Video Camera for superb quality video material. All footage is supplied to you in mini-DV format (unedited).
